We have arranged beautiful weddings in Italy, Greece, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Kenya and Czechoslovakia and more. In addition, other worldwide destination weddings are possible. We have gained a notable reputation in the wedding consultant and planning industry. Our company and our weddings have been featured and published in "Travel Leisure", "Bride's Magazine", "Conde Nast Traveler" and the "New York Times", to name a few. 

We have also arranged family reunions, baptisms, renewal of wedding vows, corporate meetings, special events and conventions.  

Grand Luxe began as a rental company, specializing in villa, apartment, castle and farmhouse rentals throughout Italy. Today, we are one of the leading villa rental companies. Our properties provide clients with a more affordable, culturally enriching and exciting alternative to staying at a hotel. Grand Luxe is listed in several travel resource guides, including "Fodor's Guide to Italy". 

Lisa Habicht Sharry is the owner and President of Grand Luxe International, Inc. a certified travel agency catering to clients who desire special arrangements world wide, specializing in Italy.
The Customized Special Arrangements Division arranges for, and/or plans, weddings, corporate functions, conventions, family reunions, photo shoots, and locations for television programs, commercials, films and documentaries. All aspects of these events are arranged, including entertainment, flowers, catering, photography, etc. These special events are held abroad at many of the properties which Grand Luxe represents in Italy, such as Il Grand Hotel di Rimini, Tuscan castles, and Venetian Palazzos, as well as exotic locations and select exclusive hotels and resorts world wide. This company was formed in 1987 by Ms. Sharry and began with villa rentals. They have always offered an excellent selection of villas, castles, farm houses, and apartments throughout Italy.

Most recently, Grand Luxe has added Posarelli Villas of Florence, Italy to their program. This firm specializes in Tuscany and Umbria and is headed by Guido Posarelli, a colleague of Ms. Sharry's since 1987.

The select properties are personally inspected and managed by Mr. Posarelli and his efficient, multi-lingual staff. Having lived and studied in the U.S., Mr. Posarelli is well aware of the U.S. market and applies his expertise to satisfying the desire of American clients. In addition to the Posarelli program, Grand Luxe offers distinguished properties in other regions of Italy such as, Veneto, Lazio, Campania, Sardenia, and Sicily.

Grand Luxe works only with the finest management companies and its managing director, Lisa Habicht Sharry has visited many of the properties.
